Director
Houra Qadir
I am the Director of Learning Stars Montessori. I hold two Bachelor of Science degrees and began my interest in working with children when I was pregnant with my own child. I find working in Early Years exciting and rewarding, as I am passionate about the future of our children.

My aim is to ensure the individual needs of every child is met to the highest standard. I believe that children deserve the best, and I am dedicated in creating a beautiful, homely environment, and
to build a team of childcare practitioners
that are passionate about their roles.

I also believe in providing our children a rich variety of learning experiences, through embracing Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Forest School approaches, providing high quality extra-curricular music, movement and yoga programmes, and having regular outings to the community and further afield.

I love Montessori as it embraces a holistic
approach, aimed at supporting each unique child's holistic development: as a critical thinker, an artist, and a citizen of our shared Earth. Montessori transcends competition between children and focusses on collaboration and the community, promoting love, respect, compassion and a vision towards world peace. I believe these values are key to our children's success in the future world they will inherit.
Manager
Rumana Ali
Hi! I'm Rumana, Manager at Learning Stars. I am qualified in Level 3 Childcare and have completed my Masters in Psychology. I have been working with children since 2012, and have been in management since 2016.
I have a different approach to managing a nursery. I believe education should be fun and children should enjoy learning. Working in partnership with parents, I like to create a welcoming, homely environment for children to be able to come to nursery and be creative.
I believe children and staff should come and leave nursery taking away something positive and unique with them that they can share with others for life.

My future vision for Learning Stars is to have a unique, holistic approach for learning, taking parts of different Educational Theorists such as Montessori and Reggio, and evolving them all into one.
Children are great imitators so give
them something great to imitate!

Deputy Manager
Zahrah Ahmed
Hello, I’m Zahrah, the Deputy Manager at Learning Stars and I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare. I started my career in childcare in 2012, and quickly progressed into management.
Working with children is my passion, and I enjoy seeing the progress children make with the support of the staff. At Learning Stars, we like to create a personal approach, and together with the parents, we aim to provide our children with the best possible start in life.

I wish to create and maintain an enviroment where children can learn, play and grow, giving them the opportunity to learn and practice valuable life skills that will help them to prepare for their future.
Today's children will be tomorrow's future, so it is important for us to stimulate our students to feed their hunger for learning and expand their success in life. Every child deserves a good start in life, and
at learning Stars, we aim to provide this.
